  • Makeup trial

    When to book

As soon as possible! Your makeup trial is included in your package, as I believe it’s a vital part of ensuring we achieve exactly what you want.

    Available dates

Friday and Saturday trials are rare and are only released about 12 weeks in advance.

My online booking system includes a link to join my waitlist - please join the waitlist if you’d like a Friday or Saturday appointment, so you can be the first to know if something becomes available.

    Trial details

The cost of your trial is to be paid prior to your wedding day - 50% is payable when you book your trial online, and the other 50% is payable on the day of your trial. The cost of your trial is then deducted from your final invoice.

    Tan trial

    When to book

If you’re planning on being tanned for your wedding, please have some sort of tan on your skin when you come to your makeup trial - whether it’s a home tan or a professional tan, it doesn’t matter, as long as you have some sort of tan on your skin.

This allows us to make the most of your makeup trial, so we can get the best visual idea of how you’ll look on your wedding day.

    Available dates

Your actual wedding tan should be done 2 days before your wedding.

We can be a little more flexible with your trial tan - it can be applied about 24 hours before/the day prior to your makeup trial.

    Appointment availability

If you don’t live locally to Toowoomba, you are more than welcome to pop to your preferred local tanning salon for your trial tan. Just make note of what solution they’ve used and how long they’ve asked you to leave it on before rinsing, so we can use this to determine what to use for your actual wedding tan.

  • Finding the right vendors can feel overwhelming, but don’t worry - I’ve got you covered!

I’ve compiled a list of my favourite vendors who I trust for your wedding day. I’ve worked alongside these vendors countless times over the years, and cannot recommend them more highly.

While these vendors are my absolute favourites, I’ve had the pleasure of working with many other talented vendors over the years, so if you have a vendor in mind that isn’t on my list, don’t hesitate to reach out.

I’m more than happy to offer advice or share my experience with them to help you make the best choice for your day. I’m here to support you every step of the way!

  • I’ve put together a comprehensive FAQ list, drawing on 13 years of experience and countless weddings.

The chances of your question not being answered here are almost zero! So please take a moment to browse through—it’s packed with all the information you’ll need about your makeup, trials, booking details, and more.

If you still can’t find what you're looking for after checking the FAQ, feel free to get in touch.

  • For the best results, preparing for your makeup and tan trials is a must. Here are some quick tips to help you get ready:

    For your makeup trial

Clean, moisturised skin is essential. Please come to your trial with a fresh face - moisturiser only.

For your tan trial and wedding tan

Make sure to exfoliate and moisturise well 24 hours prior to your appointment.

Please don’t schedule anything in after your spray tan appointment, so that your tan can be washed off at the recommended time.

If you have any plans for the 8 hours after your tan has been applied, please know that these could prevent your tan from developing properly.

  • For the best results on your wedding day, start working on your skin at least 12 months before, or as soon as possible.

Skin that has been properly cared for, makes all the difference in the longevity and finish of your makeup.

  • If you need to make any changes to your booking, please email me as soon as possible.

I’ll confirm if I’m able to accommodate your changes, and any associated costs.

  • There’s no need to check in with me between now and the wedding - rest assured, your booking isn’t going anywhere!

If you need to check on anything, you can use your mobile number to login to my online bookings, where you’ll be able to see a list of your upcoming appointments, including trials and your wedding day booking.

  • I’m here for all your wedding makeup needs!

However, I’m also a one-woman show, so when I’m with a bridal party, doing a makeup trial, or travelling between wedding bookings, my reply times will be slower (usually 3 business days).

For quicker answers to your questions, please refer back to this Bride’s Guide before you reach out to me.

Otherwise, feel free to get in touch and I’ll reply as soon as I can!
