Stacey's qualifications and experience allow her to apply each person's makeup in such a way that it will last as long as possible, and Stacey will educate each person on the day, on how to best maintain your makeup application for longevity.

Please note that factors out of Stacey's control, such as (but not limited to) weather, skin type and/or skin condition/s, skin preparation before the day, and not following maintenance instructions, can affect the longevity of your makeup.

It is also important to remember that the face is a living, moving thing, and as such, makeup is never guaranteed to be infallible.

On the day, each person will receive an individual consultation, followed by one full makeup application, and will be given the chance to request any minor changes at the time of application.

Following makeup application, each person is expected to take reasonable care of their makeup.

Time will be allocated once all makeup applications are completed for makeup touch-ups and freshen-ups, and lipstick application.

Major touch-ups and redoing makeup are not included in your booking, and can only be done at Stacey's discretion, and will incur an extra charge.

Whilst Stacey is confident in the longevity of your makeup, you may wish to have her on hand for touch ups after the ceremony and before photos. This is an optional extra and is subject to availability. Please get in touch to discuss pricing and availability.

Mirror Mirror offers spray tanning using Naked Tan (2 hour tans) and Bella Bronze (1-8 hour tans), in a variety of undertones and depths to suit all skin tones and types and personal preferences.

Tanning is recommended 48 hours/2 days before your wedding/event.

If you choose to have your tan done at another salon, please check with Stacey first as to whether she’d like you to have your face tanned.

Tanning the face results in tan sitting in the pores, drying out the skin, irritating sensitive skin, etc. and can therefore compromise the final makeup result.

We strongly recommend having a tan trial 3 or more weeks before your wedding or event.

Please ensure you have prepared correctly for your tan. Preparation information can be found on our FAQ and Blog.

Please ensure all facial hair removal (waxing, dermaplaning, shaving, laser, etc) is done 3 or more days prior to your makeup application.

Foundation will otherwise not stick to the skin properly and will compromise the final makeup result.

Neither Stacey or Mirror Mirror are responsible for facial hair removal on the day of your makeup application.

Please do not have a lash lift in the 12 weeks leading up to your makeup application. If anybody has had a lash lift, they will not be able to have false lashes on the day.

It is preferred that nobody has lash extensions. Lash extensions catch eyeshadow fallout during a makeup application and look dull/dirty as a result, and impact the final appearance of a makeup application.

Mirror Mirror takes no responsibility for caring for or cleaning lash extensions.

Please do not commence a new skincare routine within 12 weeks of your wedding/event, or make any other changes to your skin routine in this time without professional guidance.

A new skincare routine or the introduction of new products, can result in the skin 'purging' (ie. white heads, blackheads, red bumps, flaking) and/or reacting, and takes time for the skin to re-adjust (usually 6 to 12 weeks minimum).

Please do not have a facial or use any products like sheet masks etc. in the week leading up to your wedding without professional guidance.

If you choose to use masks or do facials the night before, please ensure all residue has been removed with a gentle exfoliant the night before your makeup application.

Please gently exfoliate the night before your makeup application. A gentle exfoliation the night before your makeup booking will ensure a smooth, fresh base and will prevent build up of products on the skin. Please contact Stacey if you would like advice on how best to exfoliate.

On the day, everyone should follow a basic skincare routine (thoroughly wash the face - including the eyes - and moisturise as a minimum).

Please do not wear products containing SPF, products containing Vitamin C, BB cream, mascara, or any other makeup products.

If anybody arrives wearing makeup, they will be asked to leave the makeup chair to wash their face while somebody else starts makeup, in order to avoid delays.

Mirror Mirror is not responsible for makeup removal, the final makeup result or the longevity of makeup if residual makeup is on the skin before a makeup application, or if skin prep instructions have not been followed.

Mirror Mirror, Stacey and any representatives accept no responsibility or liability for the final result, should anybody choose not to follow Mirror Mirror's instructions regarding tanning, waxing, lashes and skin preparation.

Makeup trials are subject to tavailability, and are not generally available on Fridays or Saturdays.

Trials should be booked as soon as possible, and can be booked up to 18 months in advance via Mirror Mirror's online booking system.

Due to limited availability, we do not recommend trying to coincide your trial with another event (like your engagement, hen's party, etc) as trials are generally not available on weekends.

Where possible, a makeup trial should be done on the same day as your hair trial.

A tan trial should be done 1-2 days before your makeup trial if you are tanning for the wedding.

Trials are not limited to brides - mothers and bridesmaids are welcome, particularly if anybody has allergies or sensitivities, or anybody is feeling anxious or uncertain about having their makeup done.

Trials are available as a standard trial (1.5 hours, minimal changes/tweaks subject to time) or a deluxe trial (2 hours, up to 2 makeup looks).

Should you choose not to have a trial, whilst all care will be taken, Mirror Mirror's artists will not be held responsible or liable in any way, if you are dissatisfied with any aspect of the service on or after your wedding day.

If a trial has been included in your wedding makeup package, and you choose not to use the trial, the cost of the trial is non-refundable, non-transferrable and cannot be credited or deducted from the price of your package.

Please ensure that everybody has arrived, unpacked and settled in 15 minutes prior to the makeup start time, unless prior arrangements have been made and agreed to in writing.

Should anybody arrive late, this may cause delays on the day, and Mirror Mirror accepts no responsibility for delays caused by late arrivals.

Indicative start and finish times are provided to you at the time of booking, and final start and finish times are provided to you 5 weeks before your wedding. These times are not only to ensure your comfort and relaxation on the day, but also to ensure that your other vendors (hairstylist, photographer, videographer, wedding planner, wedding venue) are on the same page, and are not delayed and/or compromised in completing their jobs.

Your start and finish times are calculated to allow an adequate amount of time to complete makeup applications to everyone's satisfaction.

Stacey allows 50 minutes per person, for each makeup application (45 minutes per person for makeup application, 5 minutes per person at the end for touch-ups and lipstick).

Mirror Mirror's policy is to have all makeup finished at least:

• 1.5 hours before your ceremony;

• 1.5 hours before leaving to go to your ceremony; or

• 1.5 hours before your first look

whichever is earliest. A later finish time and/or a shorter time allowance for makeup application is not negotiable as this impacts the schedules of your other vendors, and the final makeup result.

An earlier finish time may be scheduled by Mirror Mirror based on the particulars of your wedding.

There is no set order in which each person is completed, but Stacey recommends that the bride is third-last or second-last, and anybody not staying on site, or who has other jobs to do off-site, should be done towards the start, or very last.

Each makeup will be completed in full with the exception of lipstick. Once all applications are completed, Stacey will ask everybody to finish their lunch and brush teeth (if they wish), and will then complete final touch-ups and lipstick.

Normally your photographer will arrive around this time to take photos of your hair and makeup prep.

It does not matter if hair or makeup comes first for each person - Stacey will work in with your hairstylist to ensure a smooth flow for everybody between hair and makeup, so that there are no delays on the day.

Your schedule for the day will be confirmed 5 weeks prior to your wedding.

If your wedding venue/wedding planner/photographer requires you to be finished makeup earlier than the quoted finish time, please get in touch as soon as possible so your schedule can be accommodated.

If you would specifically like your photographer and/or videographer to take hair and makeup prep shots, please ensure you hire your photographer/videographer to arrive at least 30 minutes before the allotted makeup finish time. Mirror Mirror is only guaranteed on-site until the allotted finish time, and a fee may be payable if Mirror Mirror is asked to stay beyond the allotted finish time.

At the time of issuing your final invoice (5 weeks out from your booking) you will be given a confirmed start and finish time.

Your makeup start time is calculated based on your ceremony time, the number of people in your booking, any limitations from your venue (for example the time that your venue allows you/us to access the venue), and any other relevant details.

Stacey will arrive on-site 15 minutes before your makeup start time to set up, and will start makeup at the quoted start time. If Stacey is prevented from starting on time due to factors outside of her control:

• you will be charged a late start fee of $150

• your booking will be cancelled in part without refund (ie only the number of makeups that can still comfortably be completed in the remaining time will be completed).

Your allotted finish time will not be delayed by Mirror Mirror, as this impacts your other wedding vendors (particularly your photographer), and reflects poorly on Mirror Mirror's reputation.

Stacey will provide all of her own furniture (chair, table, lighting), unless she is flying to your destination, in which case a high chair/bar stool is requested.

Please ensure the room where hair and makeup is being done, is kept cool - a hot room, combined with clothing steamers, hair dryers, hair tools, and everyone's body heat, will wreck the final outcome of your hair and makeup.

Gabbinbar Homestead will allow access to the Bride's Retreat from 8.00am. If your ceremony time and number of people having makeup done, mean that makeup needs to start prior to their permitted access time, we will be required to complete some makeup applications off-site prior to your access time, or reduce the number of people in your booking.

Gabbinbar Homestead will allow a 30-minute window on the day (usually as soon as you arrive) for a rehearsal. This should be done as soon as you arrive on-site at 8am. Please ensure that there are no delays with starting your rehearsal, as this will cause delays to the makeup (and your hairstylist's) schedule, and may put your photographer behind (meaning you may miss out on some photo opportunities).

At Gabbinbar Homestead, please keep the table closest to the window, and a trolley, free for your makeup artist. This has the best natural light.

Preston Peak Winery will require you to be at the Cellar Door 1 hour before your ceremony (so that arriving guests do not see you before the ceremony), so Stacey will work to a schedule of having all makeup finished an hour and a half before you need to be at the Cellar Door.

Gordon Country - Mirror Mirror will only complete makeup at the Retreat Homestead, not at the Cabins. All makeup will be completed 2.5 hours before your first look/ceremony, not 1.5 hours.

Hotels - please provide the Hotel front desk with Mirror Mirror's contact details and quoted arrival time, so that they can let Stacey up to your room without disturbing you.

Please ensure parking is available at your hotel. Alternatively, the cost of parking will be added to your final invoice or be payable on the day of your booking via EFTPOS.

All quotes for mobile makeup are valid for 7 days, at which point your quote will expire and your date will be made available to others again. If you wish to proceed with a booking after the expiry date, please contact Mirror Mirror to confirm availability first. Please DO NOT pay a booking fee after the expiry date, if you have not re-confirmed availability first.

Due to the volume of enquiries, Mirror Mirror operates on a first in first served basis, so your date will be held for 7 days only (from the date of emailing pricing to you), after which point your date will be made available to others if Mirror Mirror has not received notification that you will be proceeding.

To notify Mirror Mirror that you will be proceeding, please pay your booking fee as soon as possible by following the booking provided to you via email. By following the link, you are notifying Mirror Mirror that you wish to proceed, and you have 5 business days to pay your booking fee. If your booking fee is not received within 5 business days, your date will be made available to others again.

Any other form of notification will not be accepted.

Your booking fee is deducted from the final balance of your invoice and is non-refundable under any circumstance.

Booking fees are non-transferrable, but may be transferrable at the sole discretion of Mirror Mirror. Please refer to the Postponements policy for more information.

Once your booking fee is received, you will receive three (3) emails to confirm that your booking is locked in with Mirror Mirror, as follows:

1. Email entitled 'Invoice from Mirror Mirror' - this confirms receipt of your booking fee

2. Email entitled 'Your wedding makeup is booked with Mirror Mirror' - this outlines the next steps between paying your booking fee, and your wedding

3. Email entitled 'Your booking with Mirror Mirror is confirmed for [date]' (NB: you will not receive this email if your wedding is more than 18 months in the future)

Please be aware that your wedding is NOT secured with Mirror Mirror unless you have received the above emails (excluding the third email if your wedding is 18 months+ in the future).

Payment of your booking fee secures your date with Mirror Mirror - we do not expect confirmation of final numbers until closer to your wedding date. We understand that your booking details may change as times goes on, so we contact you 6 weeks out from your wedding to confirm the final details. Any changes to your booking are more than welcome subject to availability, and may incur additional charges as per our Price variation policy.

A travel charge applies for any booking outside of 4350 postcode and is charged per kilometre in both directions. Please refer to the pricing menu provided to you, for current travel charges.

If flights, hire car and/or accommodation are required, these will be booked by Mirror Mirror and invoiced to you. Mirror Mirror will book flights, hire car and/or accommodation at the time of receiving your booking fee.

You will be subject to the terms and conditions of the flight, accommodation, hire car and/or accommodation provider in the event of a cancellation or change of date.

If accommodation is required, a nominal fee will also be invoiced to you to cover the cost of meals during this time.

Payment of the balance of your booking is due 1 month before your booking date.

Failure to pay the balance of your invoice by the due date will result in cancellation of your booking with Mirror Mirror.

Please do not make advance payments or pay by instalments. Should you pay your balance in full at the time of booking, or pay in advance, or by instalments or make any part payments prior to the due date, these amounts will not be refundable under any circumstance.

These terms and conditions can only be varied by mutual agreement and in writing.

Any quoted price for mobile services is valid for 7 days from the date of providing pricing to you. Any quote for in-salon services is subject to change in line with usual salon price fluctuations.

Prices may vary if any of the following circumstances change:

• the number of people in the booking increases or decreases from the original quote

• additional makeup artists are required or requested

• an earlier start time is required or requested (early morning surcharge applies)

• the date changes

• the location changes

• the day of the week changes

• accommodation is required

• any other circumstances change

Failure to comply with all terms and conditions may result in additional fees, which will be payable on the day.

All mobile makeup bookings are subject to a minimum charge. This means that if the number of people in your booking reduces, you will still be liable for the cost of the minimum charge, regardless of the actual number of people in your booking.

Cancellations by you (entirely or in part) within 28 days of your booking date will not be refundable.

Cancellations must be notified by completing a cancellation form. If a cancellation is received from a person other than the primary contact person, Mirror Mirror may request confirmation from the primary contact person before continuing with the cancellation.

If you notify Mirror Mirror of a cancellation via any other means than the cancellation form, you will be provided with a cancellation form to complete. If this cancellation form is not received back within 48 hours, your booking will be cancelled based on prior communication from you.

Mirror Mirror is not required to provide a refund if the reason for cancelling your booking is outside of Mirror Mirror's control, such as:

• if you change your mind

• if you insist on having a service provided in a particular way, against Mirror Mirror's advice

• if you fail to clearly explain your needs to Mirror Mirror

If, due to circumstances outside of Mirror Mirror's control, the makeup artist who has been booked for your wedding becomes unavailable on the date of your booking, Mirror Mirror will find a replacement and equivalently skilled and experienced makeup artist, at no additional cost to you.

Should you choose not to use the replacement makeup artist, this will be treated as a cancellation by you whereby any payments made will be non-refundable.

In the event that you cancel your booking with Mirror Mirror, you will no longer be entitled to receive any products or services from Mirror Mirror on the date of your cancelled booking.

You may only be able to reinstate your booking or book other services to the same value for the same date at the sole discretion of Mirror Mirror.

Postponements/transfers will only be permitted at the sole discretion of Mirror Mirror.

In the event that you are considering postponing your wedding, Mirror Mirror reserves the right to defer your final invoice payment to a later date while you make a decision regarding your postponement. Please note that deferral of your final payment is not guaranteed.

Postponement requests must be sent via email to hello@mirrormirrormakeupartistry.com.au. If a postponement request is received from a person other than the primary contact person, Mirror Mirror may request confirmation from the primary contact person before continuing with the request.

If a postponement request is able to be actioned and approved, you will be provided with a Postponement confirmation form - this form must be completed for your booking to be transferred to the new date. If this form is not completed, your booking will remain at the originally booked date, and all terms and conditions will apply to your originally booked date.

Correspondence via email without a completed Postponement confirmation form does not constitute an approved postponement, and your booking will remain at the original date until the form is received by Mirror Mirror.

If a postponement request is approved and able to be actioned, no further payment is required - your booking will be moved to the new date at no charge.

Your booking will still be subject to Mirror Mirror's Price variation policy.

By postponing your booking, you agree to make your original booking date available to others. and acknowledge that you may not be able to reinstate your original booking.

Neither party shall be liable to the other party for any loss caused by any failure to observe the terms and conditions of this agreement, where such failure is occasioned by causes beyond its reasonable control including but not limited to, by fire, flood, riot, strike, war, restrictions and prohibitions or any other actions by any government or semi government authorities.

In the instance of such an event, a partial refund of the cost of services (excluding additional fees such as travel, accommodation, surcharges, etc) may be issued.

There are numerous different circumstances involving yourself, myself and your wedding venue, that may arise as a result of COVID-19 Government directives.

As such, any issues arising from a Government directive will be dealt with on a case by case basis.

By engaging Mirror Mirror, you grant permission to Mirror Mirror to use any images taken of you, either professional or by your makeup artist, and provide consent to use the images on social media, on our website and/or in any other marketing material.

You may opt out of this at the time of the service if you wish, by notifying Mirror Mirror by email.

Please note that we will never be the first to reveal your wedding photos on social media. We will always wait for you or your photographer to post first.

Stacey or any MM representative may refuse to provide makeup services to anyone at any time at our sole discretion without refund, unless otherwise agreed. Reasons for refusal include, but are not limited to, intoxication, mistreatment of staff, compromised working conditions, unacceptable hygiene, breach of terms, lateness, and/or if anyone is showing signs of illness or contagious disease.

All clients must directly and immediately upon presentation of symptoms, advise Mirror Mirror of any contagious, bacterial, viral or other illness, skin condition or eye condition prior to any makeup services commencing. This includes, but is not limited to, conjunctivitis, cysts, cold sores, herpes simplex, eye sties, open wounds or cuts, bacterial or viral skin infections or conditions, golden staph, or any other contagious illnesses or conditions.

Depending upon the condition, Mirror Mirror reserves the right to refuse services to an infectious client without refund, but importantly, Mirror Mirror must be informed so that precautions can be taken to protect products, brushes and tools from contamination.

If you do not inform us of such contagious conditions or illnesses, you may be required to compensate Mirror Mirror for any products, brushes and/or tools which may become, or are likely to become, contaminated as a result of your condition or illness.

If your artist is suffering from illness on the day of your booking, your artist will take all precautions to remain sanitary and non-contagious, or a replacement artist will be provided.

To agreement

Mirror Mirror may modify these terms and conditions from time to time. Any and all changes to this Agreement will be posted on the Website and revisions will be indicated by date. You agree to be bound to any changes to this Agreement when you use Mirror Mirror's services after any such modification becomes effective. Mirror Mirror may also, in its discretion, choose to alert all users with whom it maintains email information of such modifications by means of an email to their most recently provided email address. It is therefore important that you regularly review this Agreement and keep your contact information current to ensure you are informed of changes. You agree that you will periodically check the Website for updates to this Agreement and you will read the messages sent to you to inform you of any changes. Modifications to this Agreement shall be effective after posting.

To services

Mirror Mirror reserves the right at any time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, its Services (or any part thereof) with or without notice. You agree that Mirror Mirror shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, suspension or discontinuance of these services.

Where permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify and hold Mirror Mirror, its subsidiaries, and affiliates, and their respective officers, agents, partners and employees, harmless from and against, any loss, damage, liability, claim or demand arising from your use of Mirror Mirror's services or products.
